California High School Football Stars Commit to Pac-12, NFL Teams

Clovis North's Tegra Tshabola and JSerra Catholic's David Bailey Jr. Make College Choices

Two of California's top high school football players have announced their college commitments, with Clovis North's Tegra Tshabola choosing the California Golden Bears and JSerra Catholic's David Bailey Jr. opting for the Denver Broncos.

Tshabola, a four-star linebacker, is considered one of the top prospects in the state. He helped lead Clovis North to a 12-2 record and a berth in the CIF Central Section Division I championship game this past season. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder chose Cal over offers from USC, UCLA, and Oregon.

Bailey, a three-star safety, is also a highly regarded recruit. He recorded 50 tackles, four interceptions, and two forced fumbles as a senior at JSerra Catholic. The 6-foot-0, 185-pounder committed to the Broncos over offers from Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah.

NFL Draft Prospects for Clovis North and JSerra Catholic

Tshabola and Bailey are both expected to be selected in the upcoming NFL Draft. Tshabola is projected to go in the second or third round, while Bailey is expected to be a late-round pick.
